Contributions of Afzal Khan Khattak to Pashtoon History and Scuffle

Abstract

Being a historian, Afzal Khan Khattak possesses a premier place among Pashto classical prose writers. His grandfather Khushal Khan Khattak, in his life, had given him the headship of Khattak tribe. He was an insightful politician and enamor of knowledge and literature as well. He not only contributed a lot to Pashto history and literature himself but also convinced other for creation, translation and compilation. This research paper will highlight the contributions of Afzal Khan Khattak to Pashtoon history and scuffle for uplifting of Pashto literature
