An Analysis of Pandemics Depicted in Pashto Literature

Abstract

Literature preserves happenings of everyday life. For this, nations refer to writers and poets who express  important facts of life in different genres, confront past events, and guides them to the future. Along with many other realities in life, there have also been epidemics and writers have conserved it through their poetry. Pashto literature has also maintained this tradition. This article explores comprehensively the epidemics mentioned in Pashto literature.
