Abstract

Khushal Khan Khattak is a renowned figure in Pashto literature, history, and politics. Although he was a skilled swordsman, his writing had a profound impact on his people, much like a doctor heals them. One of his most notable works is "Dastarnama," which he wrote while in prison. This book is considered a masterpiece. In "Dastarnama," Khushal Khan presents his vision of an ideal leader (Sardar) and outlines 20 essential skills and 20 key characteristics. This paper explores Khushal Khan's views on women, examining his perspectives on their role and status.
