Poetic Impact of Khushal Khan Khatak on Sadique Khatak's Poetry

Abstract

Sadiq Khattak is the nephew of Khushal Khan Khattak and the son of Faqeer Jameel Baig. He is the contemporary of Rehman Baba and Abdul Qadir Khan Khattak. He belongs to the Golden Period and his poetry shows the influence of Khushal Khan Khattak. And I think Sadiq Khattak is the first and the last poet of the Golden Period who writes poetry in the style of Khushal Baba.
