Impact of Romanticism on Poetry of Major Younas Khalil

Abstract

Major Younas Khalil, a modern poet of 20th century, has a unique accent and diction in his verses. He has folded diverse themes such as national unity, freedom, honour, autonomy, prosperity, liberty, velour, aesthecity and reverence in the folds of his poetry. He has also highlighted the disgraceful acts like gibe, cover dice, strains, mysteries, and all the negative tokens of the society. He has charged the youth with great human spirits like bravery, love, divinity and mysticism simple and clear cut wording. Above all, he is an intellectual rebel and a bold thinker having rarity of thought, imagination, thoroughness of sight and mental liberty.
